A business or information technology degree can open doors for a wide variety of careers. At Midwestern Career College, you can earn the degree and/or certification you need to find work in a variety of roles.

Business Administration

At MCC, you can earn your Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration in just two years. Through coursework and an optional externship, you’ll learn the skills you need to launch a career in management, accounting, marketing, project management or business operations. You don’t have to take time out of your busy schedule to earn your degree – MCC lets you attend business school on your time with 100% online and hybrid online/on-campus options.

Accounting

Earn your Associate of Applied Science in Accounting at Midwestern Career College and get started in your career in just two years. With 100% online options, you’ll learn the basics of accounting, including taxes, bookkeeping, budgeting and auditing.

Accounting with Healthcare Focus

MCC’s 2-year Associate of Applied Science in Accounting will equip students with the skills necessary for entry-level accountant positions. This program includes a 100% online option with coursework in Healthcare Business Operations, Medical Insurance, Claims Cycle and Billing. With this online option, you will have the flexibility to go to school without having to give up your otherwise busy lifestyle. With a Healthcare focus in Accounting, you can build the skills you need to transition your career to a more administrative role.

Employment of accountants and auditors is projected to grow 7% from 2020 to 2030, about as fast as the average for all occupations, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Organizations of all types and sizes, from small businesses and non-profits to government agencies and Fortune 5000 companies need skilled accounting professionals, making this a career with stability and variety.

Marketing

In just two years, you can earn your Associate of Applied Sciences in Marketing at Midwestern Career College. This hybrid online/on-campus program can prepare you for an entry-level marketing position by equipping you will the skills and knowledge employers are looking for, including marketing principles, internet marketing, advertising, marketing research, sales and supply chain management.

Program Objectives

Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:
