This program includes 550 hours of clinical externship at an MCC-affiliated site, which provides a unique opportunity for real-life field and patient-care experience to prepare you for your career. The END program prepares graduates for employment as EEG Techs.
MCC’s END Technologist program is one of the few in the United States currently approved by the American Board of Registered Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists (ABRET) as a pathway to the END certification.

According to the O*NET Online Summary Report for Neurodiagnostic Technologists, 11,000 new EEG Tech jobs are expected to be created from 2021-20311. This is average for all jobs.
As an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist (EEG Tech), you will be entering a rapidly growing neurodiagnostic healthcare field, which also offers opportunities for advancement into other specialties. Additional education and training can expand your opportunities with specialization in fields like:
- Evoked potential (EP)
- Nerve conduction studies (NCS)
- Intraoperative monitoring (IOM)

Clinical Externship
